| This research tests the relationship linkage and effect between the variable of "leadership management" and variable of "innovation management" .The research problem is how to understand the success leadership management role in the achievement of innovation management in Diyala University. A questionnaire was used in data collection depending on the distribution of (44) forms to the research sample chosen as (colleges deans and their assistants and heads of departments).Data were analyzed Using a number of statistical tools including linkage coefficient (Person) .The results were obtained by (SPSS) software .The research found set of conclusions, one of the most important thinks was that there is a linkage and effect relationship between "leadership management" and "innovation management .
