Abstract | ||
Since the liberalization of trade in Iraq under the resolutions of the CPA Order (38) for the year 2003 and it (54) for the year 2004, where the government has stopped collecting taxes and fees on foreign trade was suspended a law of customs tariff number (77) of 1955, as amended, and authorities are customs charge5% of the value of imported goods tax for the reconstruction of Iraq - with a broad exemptions from this tax, since the customs tariff raises sensation. Increased it complicated after the enactment of the customs tariff number (22) for the year 2010 which was supposed to be working whereby in 2011, but the government found itself unable to implement the law despite pledges made by the World Trade Organization and the appointments that have committed themselves to them and failed to meet. And there are many reasons economic, social and administrative and other political obstacle, and it seems they may make it impossible to be able to this government or any other government, followed by the application of this law. | ||
