Sudan is considered a small image of the African continent which sufferers from several problems. ln the forefront of these problems are the internal and international conflicts that have become remarkable characteristics of many African countries in the post – Cold War. Since independence, Sudan is suffering from wars and internal conflicts; perhaps the most notable one is the conflict in the south, which led to the separation and the announcement of an independent state in 2011. In addition to Darfur crisis which still exists between the Khartoum government and the movement of rebellion in the province. The province, since along time and still, has witnessed a tribal conflict over natural resources between the Arab herders and African tribes that work in agriculture. The internal, regional and international elements have helped stirring the crisis, which began in 2000, to reveal Israel's involvement in supporting the movement of rebellion in Darfur by training the rebels and providing them with weapons. Also, Israel has made intervention in Sudan as a priority of its foreign policy in order to distract Sudan with its internal problems and cast it away from its role in the issues of the region. | ||
