The conquest of Egypt Chapters from the chronicle of John Bishop of nikiu (London,1916) Translation from English to Arabic Prof. Dr. Jassim Sakban Ali Professor of Islamic history (Abstract Research) These Chapters are concerning a lot of information about Islamic conquest of Egypt . The important chapters are the following :- Chapter 111 :- Concerning the first encounter of Amru with the Romans at the city of Heliopolis . Chapter 112:- How all the Jews assembled in the city of manuf owing to their fear of the Muslim . the Jews left the gates of Misr open and fled to Alexandria . Chapter 114:- How the Muslims took Misr in the fourteenth year of the eycle and made the fortress of Babylon in gates in the fifteenth year. Chapter 116:- Concerning how God gave the Romans in to the hands of the Muslims and rejected them . Chapter 117:- How Amru get possession of Absadi , that is Niqijus and the flight of the general Domitian and the destruction of his army in the river . Chapter 120:- Concerning how Amru the chief of the Muslim took the tribute in the vessel and paid it into his hands . | ||
