Abstract The effect exposing Callosobruchus maculatus (Fab.) to high temperature 45, 50 and 55 ° C alternate with low temperature 5. zero and -5 ° C for 15 , 30 , 45 , 60 minutes on insect mortality showed that high temperature alternate with -5 ° C produce a significant mortality effect reach 88.33 , 88.33 and 91.11 % for 45 , 50 and 55 ° C respectively . The mean mortality percentage were increased as increasing the time of exposure . The results of exposing eggs to thermal sequence revealed a reduction in adult eclusion and reduce the food consumption by the insect | ||
