Abstract | ||
This paper tries to recognize how the population of united Arab Emirates ( Oman Coast ) practice for the pearl hunting profession before the discovery of oil , and considering it as a source for living . At that time , it was discovered that profession inhabitants started since the Islamic era .The pearl hunting included all coast of that area . Due to the economic significance of that profession , the inhabitants agreed to end the wars within your month from the Summer , clearly , great numbers of the inhabitants were working that profession and what it need concerning ships Manufacturing and diving requirements .This is considered as a refreshing for a private sector of the local industries and a covering for living expenses of the workers . The members proved that the revenues of pearl selling constituted a significant financial source for the inhabitants of the Omani coast. This profession was organized accurately particularly among the workers on one land and the sheiks Of the coast on the other . The sheiks invested the revenues of this profession ( takes ) in building of schools and the administrative requirements and the cultural and religious centers . The influence of this profession on the inhabitants up to the thirties of the 20th century . this profession was not left but after the oil how in Oman coast in the second half of the twentieth century . | ||
