Abstract
The reaction of (aceturic acid) (a-a) and urea (U) in alkaline media with the following metal ions (Mn(п), Co(п) ,Ni(п) and Cu(п)) in ethanolic medium with (1:2) (M:L) ratio yield series of neutral complexes of general formula [M (a-a)2 U]. The prepared complexes were characterized by using FT.IR, UV-Vis spectroscopic and elemental microanalysis (C.H.N) as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements.
