Abstract | ||
An efficient micropropagation protocol was developed for nodal explants of Acacia senegal plants. Nodal segments of Acacia senegal were induced to produce a large number of shoots induction by culturing on MS medium supplemented with NAA and Kn separately in different concentrations and coconut milk was used for shoot multiplication 20% (v/v). Excised shoots from this culture were rooted best on ½ MS medium fortified with 0.5 mg/L IBA. The complete plantlets thus obtained were successfully transferred to soil. | ||
