Each strain divided in to three treatment (T1,T2,T3) and the chicks in each treatment were subdivided in three replicate . Chicks were in T1 were used as control and provided feed ad libitum . Feed restricted broiler T2 , provided feed (9 hour per day ) and T3 , provided feed (12 hour per day ) from the age ( 7 – 14 ) days . Results showed the means body weight and growth rate in Cobb500 chicks were increased (p> 0.05 ) due to the compensatory growth in the last four weeks of age whereas abdominal fat yield and mortality were decreased significantly (p> 0.05 ) in feed-restricted birds . There were no significant differences in feed conversion ratio , dressing percentage , breast cut at (42) days of age . | ||
