This study was conducted in Al- Ishaqi Cattle Station, north of Baghdad, using 36 multiparous Friesian cows in the early breeding season. The cows were divided randomly into two main groups are set equal spraying and the control group without spray and Each group was divided into three sub-groups for the period from 1/6/2010 to 31/10/2010 to study the effect of niacin supplementation and spraying water in the middle of the day and at frequent intervals with niacin on some blood parameters and biochemical and the effectiveness of some enzymes and the concentration of hormones in the blood serum. The results showed that the effect of niacin was positive during months experiment on blood parameters (PCV, RBC, WB , Hb) and biochemical (glucose, cholesterol, T. proteins, albumin) and the effectiveness of some enzymes activities and hormones concentrations (AST, ALT, T3, T4, Cortisol). The effect of spraying is different on these parameters between the significant or not throw months experiment, should be noted that the impact of interaction between the niacin and spraying was significantly on most blood parameters of the studied for each months and the level of (12 gm./cow/day) was always greater than the effect level (6 gm./cow/day) for the duration of the experiment, it seems clear that exposure dairy cattle to heat stress in summer had a negative effect on blood component of the studied, and niacin supplementation (12 gm., 6 gm./cow/ day) and spraying with water middle of the day led to the mitigate the adverse impact of heat stress in this component. | ||
