Abstract: This study involved toxicity of different cocentrations of pb as cH3coopb salton some life aspects of C.pipienis by measuring mortality rate in mosquito larva ,time required by larva for development , and the lead uptake by the forth larval instar .Results showed that the safe concentration was 1.45 mg/l as the highest mortality rates started after that concentration, they were 10.83, 12.5,30 larva in 2,2.5,3 mg/l respectively..Results also showed that time required by larva treated with pb for development has delayed significantly (9-18)day compared with 8 days in control treatment .LC50 for pb against C.pipienis larva in this study was 7.5 mg/l .There was asignificant increase in lead uptake related to increase lead exposure in mosquito larva. | ||
