Effect of insecticide Diazinon on Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from the roots of Viccia faba plants

Abstract
This study included the determination of the effect of the insecticide ‘Diazinon’on Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from the roots of Viccia faba in the
fields of AL-Qadisiya district at the range of( 0.2 , 0.4 and 0.6) ppm concentration
where the( 0.6) ppm concentration represented to the initial concentration in the
field soil .
The results were showed that the numbers of P.aeruginosa reached to( 5.8 × 107) in the control treatment , but the numbers decreased to( 3.3×107) with Diazinon in the treatment ( 0.2) ppm and the numbers increased to( 3.7 ×108 and 1.1 × 108) in( 0.4 and 0.6 ppm) . The results were showed that P.aeruginosa capable to convert this insecticide to other Compounds in the laboratory .
