This study involved isolation and identification of Azospirillum bacteria and the preparation of VA Mycorrhizal fungi inoculants (Glomus mosseae) to study their effects in single and dual applications under several combination of chemical fertilizers on growth and produced plant Zea mays L. from (NPK) in the pot experiment in the glass house. (5) isolates of Azospirillum spp. bacteria were collected from Zea mays L. roots samples in shatrah city. Were belong to (A.brasilense) only. The isolates (A5) of (A.brasilense) were selected to be used in the pot experiments on the basis of their activities and efficiency in fixing nitrogen biologically in the specific media of each one . The results revealed that dual inoculation of fungal and bacterial biofertilizer gave significant increas in dry weight of roots and shoots system plant hight and compared with the single application of the fungal and bacterial biofertilizers .The application of a dual fungal and bacterial biofertilizer and in the absence of Nitrogen and Phosphorus from the chemical fertilizer combination gave dry weight shoot which is not differ significantly of that recorded in the case of adding the full chemical fertilizer combination of (NPK) and in the absence of biofertilizers. The (NPK) Utilization Efficiency were higher in the dual inoculation of fungal and bacterial biofertilizers compared with that in the single application of the fungal and bacterial biofertilizers . | ||
