| Abstract | ||
| Multi systems , equations and indexes are used to evaluate and classify the lands for many purposes that including land evaluation for irrigation , therefore this study was conducted to suggest a new equation which be suited for Iraqi lands because the application of these different system produces different results for the same land . So the present evaluation systems did not take care of the irrigation water suitability . Twenty six different systems were studied , and their factors which regarded the important were compared , then the factors which are present in the whole systems and be suitable for Iraqi land are selected in addition to enter new factors , then evaluate these factors by suggestion the new rating or by correction their values or remains as it . New two equations were suggested , the first for irrigation water evaluation and the second for evaluation of soil properties . By mean of their index values , the class of land suitability for irrigation and the index evaluation ratio be known in depending on special tables . | ||
