(( Abstract )) Omission is one of the linguistic features which is common to all languages. Language differ in the amount of omission that appear in each . Arabic , for example , has a tendency to briefness and summarization which show its originality and stability. The researcher has investigated the omission of objects in the Glorious Qur'an and its semantic significance and found that it is a large area ; hence no one can cover it unless he has a nice fluency and a keen impression . The researcher has also referred to many books of rhetoric ; syntax ; literature ; and principle of religion and found that object , as neglected if the verb entails that . We discovered that the omission of object is of tow types : The omission of the first , in which the omission is intended , is for lightening . Example of this type are mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an a lot . Grammarians and rhetoricians would rather prefer this type of omission as being more desirable in the expressions of rhetoric value . The second type , in which the omission is entire and the purpose of the sentence is to state the presence of the verb by the subject without mentioning the object ; thus , it becomes an intransitive verb like . This type of omission is not intended for either to indicate the intransitivity use of the verb , or as an exaggeration of leaving out the restrictions . The former is called " abbreviated omission " , while the latter is called " contracted omission " , which is an omission done not for any indication . The researcher after pursuing the omission of the object in the Glorious Qur'an ; found it is too much to be collected as a whole by whoever wants to confine them . Therefore , the study is limited to cases in which the grammarians and rhetoricians agreed upon for the sake of summarization | ||
