Abstract | ||
This research is designed to determine the amount of deviations in the annual amounts of rain compared to the general rates in nineteen climatic stations during the period 1970/1971 and 1999/2000. In other words, the main objective of current research is to identify the extent of deviations in the annual amounts of rain during the study period, and this is done through the study of each station separately and meets how different values of rain recorded in a different year varies compared to the average of the time period in full . When the data completed the general rates for all stations have been calculated, represented graphically and then analyzed by using the program (SPSS). The study found a set of conclusions the rains in Iraq is characterized by fluctuations between one and another year. And it is obvious that the seventies decade being the most moist years, while the decade of the nineties distinguished by scoring less amounts of rainfall, particularly in the last five years of it. | ||
