Abstract | ||
The romantic poets love much the nature and the creator of this nature who is God. I has chosen two important poems, titled: the house of the shepherd and the mountain of olive-tree, in which, Vigny explain his love for the nature. In the house of the shepherd, Vigny compares the nature with Eva; hereby the nature is our mother as Eva. As to the Mountain of the olive-tree, the poet presents us religious image of the sufferance of Jesus . Vigny succeeded to embody the reel events which happened for Jesus. | ||
