Abstract | ||
In this work three types of oil were used and subjected to the same conditions such as work hours, and same engine type. These samples were placed in special cells of spectrophotometer and subjected to visible radiation of wavelengths in range from 400nm to 600nm. The absorbance percentages of visible light by different oil samples were measured, and conducted viscosity measurements of the same samples. The variation of absorbance percentages values were plotted as a function of the work hours and against the viscosity values. The results reveals that the Al-dura engine oil is the best from other oil types which were used in this research and the behavior of its viscosity curve is still constant approximately during all work hours. This result leads to that can be used for along time greater than other engine oils. | ||
