Abstract | ||
This research studied the effect of flame retardant material addition namely antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) on thermal conductivity of composite material consist of conbextra epoxy (EP-10) resin reinforced biaxially by woven roving E–type glass fibers (°45-°0) with density (600g/cm3) .The effect of different percents of antimony trioxide (10%, 20%,30%) on thermal conductivity was investigated by using Fourier equation to calculate the thermal conductivity coefficient (k) for this composite material before and after addition of flame retardant material ,where the thermal conductivity value improved after added trioxide and the best increment in conductivity was at (30%) from antimony trioxide . | ||
