Abstract | ||
The adsorption isotherms for five derivatives of phenol from aqueous solution onto asurface of activated AL2O3 has been determined at 22°, 35° and 45°. The calculation showedthat these isotherms adopting langmuir equation rather than freundlich. Increasingtemperature lead to an effect on reducing amount of adsorbate without changing the pattern ofthe isotherms.This means that the mechanism is exothermic for all Investigated phenols. In this workthe values of +G was determined at 22°C and 35°C except for n-Nitro phenol at temperature45° was used. | ||
