| Abstract | ||
| This research aims to identify: the number of time-outs used in the match, evaluate the coaches through analyzing the time-outs of Iraqi women’s premier league matches, and identify the result of the match through time-outs. The researcher has adopted the descriptive approach in the survey method, and the research community consisted of (5) coaches participating in the Iraqi Women’s Basketball Super Championship, which was held in Dohuk Governorate (2022). The coaches were from the teams of the Sennacherib Club, Basra Club, North Gas Club, Darbandikhan Club, and Akkad Club. A special form for data collection and analysis has been designed from the official game form with correct scientific parameters. For the achievement of research objectives, percentage has been used where the researcher arrived at several conclusions, the most important of which is the noninvestment of time-outs due by the coaches of the participating teams in the Iraqi Premier League for Women. There was no effect of the time-outs in changing the result of the matches. During the tournament, the club that was of the most use of time-outs was Akkad, while those of the least use of time-outs were the Sennacherib and North Gas. | ||
