Abstract | ||
Women have an important and vital role in public life, as they are part of society, and their reform and serious participation depend on the progress and well-being of society. Therefore, there has been an increase in global interest in the rights of women, including women with disabilities, and the need for their participation in economic development, to provide them with opportunities like other women, and to integrate them positively into participation. And to be contributors and producers in the economic development of their country and not just consumers, in addition to enhancing their sense of their own ability and self-reliance in life without being dependent on anyone, and providing them with decent job opportunities. Despite the efforts made, this group still represents the weak and marginalized group to enter the Iraqi labor market, which necessitates standing at the challenges of embodying the right of women with disabilities to work in order to facilitate their access to all state institutions and to achieve this, addressing obstacles and difficulties, and is the strategy included in the Iraqi labor law No. 37 of 2015 at a level that meets the ambitions and aspirations of this group, and what are the ways to enhance job opportunities for women with disabilities in the Iraqi labor market. | ||
