| Abstract | ||
| This research discusses the concept of poetry and poetic image for the poet Salah Abdel Sabour. He was able to embody the concept of poetry and poetic image through his high technical poetic expression and familiarity in various Arab and foreign cultures ,the definition of those terms was based on what he acquired from Arab culture and its heritage and foreign heritage enriched by the talent and holistic studies where the researcher concluded that it represent human common feeling among woud nation to understand poetry and its meaning. If the researcher focus on the concept of Salah Abdel Sabour poetry and poetic image. we found a clear convergence between the concept and the concept of romantic poetry to him, because there are stations which converge the life of this poet and romantic poets. The poetic image appears that Salah Abdel Sabour had focused on the concept of image as appeared among romantics and critics and referred to by some modern critics during their talk about the poetic image.
