| Abstract | ||
| Study was carried out to determine the activity of urease enzyme at field located in Rashidia region near Mosul city northern of Iraq. The soil was classified according to great soil groups as calciorthidsب which characterized in producing different crops. Soils was taken from cultivated area by (wheat, vegetables crops and fruit trees) and un-cultivated area. Soil samples were taken during the four seasons on 2012 at adepth 0-15cm and the average temperatures during seasons were 5,25,45 and 35 for winterب spring, summer and fall season respectively, soil samples were treated by 1 ml (0.2 m) urea as substrate material for urease enzyme and incubated for 2hrs, then the ammonia was measured.
