Abstract | ||
The results of the recently field study which conducted in al Haweja area in Iraq at both season of the year 2014 indicated did not have a significant differences for the treatment with insecticides in the infestation percentage and dead heart between both season while the treatment with cruiser +spray with ceta insecticide gave the lowest mean of infestation percentage (5%) and dead heart (0.50%) . also the results showed a superior of the treatment with cruiser + spray with ceta 25 insecticide which gave the lowest mean of tillers number , holes number and larvae number which reached (1.05 tiller / plant), (1.15 holes/ plant and 0.5 larva /plant respectively and followed the spray treatment with ceta 25 insecticide which gave the highest mean of plant height (290.67cm) The result of the study indicated that the treatment of insecticides on the autumn season were superior significantly in all characteristic studied as known ears weight , ears number, grain number and 500 grain weight which their means reached 216.83g, 0.90 ear, 543.83 grain and159.91g respectively . also the statistical analysis proved that the spraying treatment with ceta 25 gave the highest value of these means which reached 227.67g , 1 ear , 637.17 grain and 149.16g respectively too and the treatment with cruiser + spray with ceta 25 was followed. | ||
