Abstract | ||
This study investigates the subject of intertextuality in Dunya Mikhail’s poetry, to identify the types of intertextuality employed to analyze them identify the mechanism of the poet’s recall of those intertextualities, and how to employ them, and the extent to which they are affected by old and contemporary poets. We defined intertextuality along with its types including: religious, mythical, intertextuality with historical tales that the poet invoked in her poetry and popular songs, and literary intertextuality, which showed the extent to which she was affected by ancient Arabic poetry. The study was concluded with the most important results obtained as well as references. | ||
