Abstract | ||
The research aimed to identify the contribution of agricultural extension workers in providing scientific recommendations for poultry keepers in the Field of dealing with Poultry Waste in Fallujah district, as well as to identify the correlation between the contribution of agricultural extension workers and a set of independent variables studied (age, educational qualification, specialization, duration of service in agricultural extension, and participate in training courses in the field of poultry), as well as to identify the most important obstacles facing the work of agricultural extension workers In this field, The research included four areas related to dealing with poultry waste: the field of using types of poultry bed, the field of moisture disposal to reduce diseases, the field of use of incinerators, and the field of use of mortality, and to achieve the goals of the research data were collected through a questionnaire form that was developed and tested before, and it was confirmed The validity and reliability of the scale and its validity, as data was collected in the month of May 2020 from (56) respondents from the agricultural extension workers in the Fallujah district, and the data was analyzed using a number of statistical methods, and the results showed that the contribution of agricultural extension workers ranged between (32 - 72) degrees according to the scale of the contribution scale whose theoretical range ranged between (29-87) degrees, with an average of 48. 6 degrees, and a standard deviation of 9.92 degrees, and it was found that 48.2% Of the respondents with a high contribution, and that there is a statistically significant correlation between the contribution of agricultural extension workers and each of the variables (age, educational qualification, specialization, duration of service in agricultural extension, and participate in training courses in the field of poultry). | ||
