Abstract | |||||||||||
This study aimed at shedding light upon the cultural heritage of Mrs. Shaghab during the second Abbasid era in the reign of her son, Caliph Al-Muqtadir Billah. The study showed the magnificent role of this impact and the state of the Abbasid court that it became as a result of this impact of the lady. This impact had seen the great influence of what Mrs. Shaghab had become administratively and her owning of the special administrative system of regulating the affairs and conditions of the Abbasid court according to her wishes and aspirations. Then it also showed the great cultural contribution in the field of construction and urbanization and its general and great benefit to the public in building hospitals and doing charity works and good deeds. It also explained the great economic impact of Mrs. Shaghab, which was represented by the large amounts of money and property of her own, which were varied, including lands and money, and the numerous ways of obtaining them. As it revealed the impact of these funds on various areas of spending, which had sometimes reached lavishness which Mrs. Shaghab was greatly characterized with. | |||||||||||
