Abstract
The poem of ‘the Journey’ - as a new poetic experience - can embody to some extent the frameworks of places, the beliefs of their inhabitants, and the horizons of cultures in terms of vision and popular belief. This happens in a way that bridges the chasm of divergence among people, so that poetry - through it - is the connecting link to determine what is common even if the races and nationalities are different.
  (Reaching the River) was an effective attempt in creating human communicative ties based on the cultural closing built on a conscious basis of intellectual exchange. This is done through constructive formations from which we monitor self-awareness about a popular customs and heritage. This was embodied in poetic smoothness, and dreamy and conscious perceptions of the host environment with its characters and worlds. The poet reached places or points, which are unknown or culturally alien to his mother country. That was through immersing him in the river of knowledge of  the other and living with him in his details in belief, philosophy and visions, until it became part of it.
The poem of Basem Furat assures the tendency of the man who knows about poetic usages make intellectual way of thinking that simplify things to the reader so he immerse in the mood of the poem.
