| Undoubtedly, the ancient Arab poetic heritage included many experiences that took upon themselves to carry the banner of creativity, which produced a rich poetic material in the form of a remarkable phenomenon. Among them sat Abu al-Tayyib al-Mutanabbi, who filled the world and occupied peoples heart - as it was said about him - and his poetry occupied me like others, so it occurred to me to discover the secret of his uniqueness by approaching one of his texts stylistically. To lay hands on some of the apparent secrets of this creative man’s style, the text (Al-Humma) poem is taken as a sample of that distinctive stylistic creativity. The nature of the research necessitated its division into two sections: the first section is (the theoretical dimension - an introduction to the stylistic reading of the text -),which was devoted to the theoretic field of the analytical approach followed and a statement of the direction that the researcher accepted among the multiple stylistic trends. The second section is (the applied dimension - Prominent stylistic methods in the text of Al-Humma - ). It was devoted to the applied part and was concerned with choosing the most prominent stylistic usages in the text (Al-Humma). Eventually results were set in the conclusions. |
