Abstract | ||
The research aimed is studying telecommunications networks (Zain Iraq) in Al-Ramadi city, in terms of spatial distribution to know its efficiency. The western part of the city with unserved areas up to (688 hectares) of the total area of the city, at a rate of (11،6%). This research is based on setting a realistic future vision for improving the network performance and reaching upgrading the telephone services to an acceptable degree of efficient communication, locative distribution and redistribution of towers, and opening new axes that can deliver the service to areas of population and economic importance for achieving social justice. From here the aims of the research that came out have been crystallized to the extent of the importance of geographical information systems (GIS), which gave another dimension to digital databases in terms of spatial linking of information, indicating land uses and studying changes that contribute to the optimal planning of the city. | ||
