Abstract | ||
The United States of America considered it necessary to consolidate its influence in Egypt since the first decade of the twentieth century, and behind this trend was far-reaching goals, the most important of which is the establishment of cultural and educational institutions to spread American culture in the Egyptian governorates, as it is a fertile environment for cultural activities. In Egypt, which played a major role in Egypt, which caused controversy among the Egyptian cultural circles, some of them considered it to be within the framework of the cultural exchange between the two countries, and some considered it a police duty, which forced President Gamal Abdel Nasser to personal intervention to resolve that controversy, and it became one of the educational cultural institutions The mission in Egypt to this day. In addition to these cultural and educational institutions, the Ford and Franklin institutions were active, as well as the activity of the press and art in Egypt for the duration of the study.
