| In our current study, we seek to highlight the role of TQM with its necessary requirements as a tool to promote the application of Total productive maintenance platforms, considering that these two variables from the holistic point of view represent the way to distinguish the performance of organizations and hence their competitiveness in the midst of the Red Ocean. (7) organizations in the iron and steel sector especially since this study is the first in the surveyed sector.
