Abstract | ||
The Ministry of Education is making distinguished efforts for the purpose of providing educational supplies and preparing schools and educational institutions to keep pace with scientific and knowledge development. Schools for the Excellence occupy a great interest among these institutions because of their role in absorbing the outstanding students. The Ministry of Education has in recent years been interested in making many amendments to the curricula, and the schools of the distinguished had a share of that, as it was done and starting from the academic year (2016-2017). Changing the curricula of scientific lessons to be in the English language instead of the Arabic language, and despite the difficulties associated with these curricula, the demand for applying to the distinguished schools is still continuing, which made the researcher work on a study aimed at evaluating the experience of teaching in English in the distinguished schools. This study was conducted on the General Directorate of Kirkuk Education and the research community consisted of teachers and teachers of the distinguished schools in Kirkuk Governorate Center for the academic year 2019-2020 and the sample consisted of 72 Administrator and teacher, and the researcher turned to two ways; the individual and group interview and the questionnaire as the study tools. The questionnaire consisted of 20 items, and the researcher has worked to find the reliability and validity factor for it. The researcher used a number of statistical means to reach to current the results, the most prominent one was the Ka2 square. The intensity degree in arriving to the results as the researcher has reached to a number of recommendations and proposals, which will be presented at the end of the research. | ||
