Abstract | ||
Women had a noticeable role in the practice of trade during this era, but it was not at the level of the role of men in trade, as senior statesmen were ministers and princes originally from prestigious commercial houses, as well as the practice of scholars and jurists to trade largely and there are many examples of that, and the reason This is due to the urge of Islam to trade, as the woman practiced the role of trade indirectly, as she made her way in the handicraft of the yarn craft, and it was one of the most trades that women practiced in this era, because it was one of the crafts, and there are many models mentioned in the search for women who They possessed money and gold, especially the women of the caliphs, to name a few. The research mentioned Mrs. Bamboo, wife of the Caliph al-Mahdi.Women participated in the trade in livestock and in the slave trade, and they have a role in building bridges, arches and digging wells to secure drinking water, charitable works and writing and calligraphy. | ||
