| Abstract | ||
| The research deals with the blurbs in Atab Al_thakira (Memory Detoriaration) by Salim Khazola focusing on the term as a concept and its types and meanings. The research involves three sections. The first tackles the blurb, its functions and types. As for the second section it talkes the front and back book cover blurb . the final section talkes the accompanied blurb, vis the dedication (dedicating the work and dedicating a copy) and the appendix as well. The study has come up with the fact that the title reflects how human beings memory is deteriorated during the American invasion on Iraq and IsIs attack on Mosul. The subtitles also have reflected the real misery of the main character in the novel which seems to be pure autobiography. Besides the blurb of the cover has reflected the content of the novel and the accompanied blurbs of dedication have reflected full passion and sentiments. | ||
