Abstract | ||
The oil refining industry in Iraq represents a great investment opportunity for the Iraqi state, which represented by its public and private sectors, or for foreign investors in multinational companies. This industry is of a great importance in meeting the local demand for its products, but this industry remains backward and suffers of many problems compared to other countries of the world, as well as the energy productivity of these refineries is small and medium compared to the oil reserves owned by Iraq. This study highlights on the refining industry in Nineveh, an applied study of the Qayyarah refinery, and what are the problems that this industry suffers from, and how to develop production methods and ways to upgrade this industry. | ||
