Abstract | ||
The research deals with the causal interpretation of a number of names that were named as a result of the semantic development that they were subjected to, in the book Taj al-Arus from the dictionary jewels of Zubaidi (1205 AH). The semantic development is one of the aspects of linguistic development. Constant change that does not stop. The aspects of development in these names are represented in three aspects, the first aspect: is the generalization of significance, the second: the assignment of significance, and the third aspect: it is the semantic transition, or the field of use, and it includes the movement of significance from the perceived domain to the abstract, or from the tangible to the sensible, and the semantic transition Through the metaphor of the like relationship, and the semantic transfer of the non-like relationship, which are the transmitter metaphor relationships. | ||
