Abstract | ||
Chapter I: Introduction and importance of research This included the introduction chapter and the importance of research and addressed the importance of the role and responsibility by the Heads of Departments as well as touched on the importance to the department heads who lack leadership skills and management expertise that will enable them to carry out administrative and educational duties efficiently. Research objectives: 1. Identify the degree of effectiveness of the performance of heads of departments of Physical Education / College of Basic Education to their functions for the leadership from the perspective of faculty members. 2. Identify the degree of effectiveness of the performance of heads of departments of Physical Education / College of Basic Education for their duties related to planning from the perspective of faculty members. 3. Identify the degree of effectiveness of the performance of heads of departments of Physical Education / College of Basic Education to their functions for the organization from the perspective of faculty members. 4. Identify the degree of effectiveness of the performance of heads of departments of Physical Education / College of Basic Education of their functions relating to decision-making from the perspective of faculty members. Chapter II: Theoretical studies and previous This chapter, containing the theoretical framework (the concept of efficiency, effectiveness measurement approaches in educational institutions, indicators of the effectiveness of department heads in institutions of higher education) in addition to previous studies. Chapter III: The Search Procedures Where the researchers adopted a descriptive approach and by using a questionnaire consisting of (29) and a sample paragraph amounted to (82) as well as the extraction coefficients of validity and reliability of the identification. Chapter Four: Results and analysis and debate Ensure that this chapter display and analysis of the results reached by the researchers after applying a set of statistical tools. Chapter V: Recommendations and proposals 1. Similar studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the department heads of physical education in colleges of education the fundamental of the Iraqi universities. 2. Similar studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the heads of departments in different faculties of Iraqi universities. 3.
