| Abstract | ||
| The study included the use of industrial waste water from the northern region of Baiji after being treated by filtration as a water to irrigate the maize plant. The experiment was carried out in plastic bags according to the complete random design and three replicates. The results showed the effect of polluted water on germination rate of seeds as 60% The polluted water prevented the normal growth of maize plant in the dry weight of the root mass at 13.9 g and the vegetative total at 38.7 g respectively. The results also recorded the highest rate of accumulation of cadmium in the roots of plants irrigated with water contaminated with the residue The results showed the highest accumulation rate of cadmium with PPM0.10 and PPM0.20pb respectively in the leg of irrigated irrigated plants. The highest concentration of Cd was recorded in leaves of plants irrigated with oil-contaminated water with PPM0.26 compared to the treatment Control of PPM0.03 The study concludes that industrial water can be used in irrigation for agricultural crops after treatment using different treatment methods. | ||
