Abstract Balance is classified into two main types which are the stative balance and mobile (or dynamic) balance and both of them are related to the movement under different cases . The dynamic balance was indicated to by the individual's ability to move from one point or place to another preserving its balance, while the stative balance was known through some activities like standing on the balance beam and standing on hands. If the individual was in stative or dynamic case she /he is governed by the mechanic principles. The importance of this research was to explain the close relationship between the posture and the sport games on one hand and the relationship between the balance and its types and the sport games on the other hand . Therefore the researchers wanted t know the relationship between the posture and balance in the sport side. They used the descriptive approach in the contrastive method between two groups to be proper to the nature of the research. The researchers selected a sample through the medical pouch for measuring the posture and (6) students who had good postures and (6) students who had bad postures were chosen due to medical test from the sixth secondary year (class) in Ur mixed secondary school in Al- Khalis district . After investigating in the resources and references and reading the experts' opinions , the researchers carried out tests for examining the posture through the medical pouch for measuring the posture to separate the sample of the study into two divisions. The first was the students with correct posture while the second one was the students with incorrect posture. The required tests for measuring the stative balance were specified . They included Hokey test for the stative balance and fit test of the dynamic balance. The researcher concluded that the posture had direct impact on the movement of stative and dynamic balance according to the tests made by the researcher. Also , the results showed that the students with correct posture were better than those who had incorrect posture in the stative and dynamic balance. The researcher recommended to select the athletes who have correct posture in various sport games according to the requirements of the game especially in age categories. | ||
