Abstract This study aims to identify the relation and the effect of adopting the leading behavior in building strategic capacities. The study relies on two aspects. The first aspect is theoretical which dealt with the scope and variables of the study. The second aspect is dealt with the methodology of the study and its practical side. The questionnaire form is used as the main tool of data acquisition. Accordingly, the following study stimulations were specified as the scope of the study problems. What are the leading behaviors that should be stressed on to build strategic capacities in the Colleges of Physical Education and Sport Science? What is the nature and type of the correlation between leading behavior and strategic capacities of those colleges? The hypothesis that the study proposes is that there is a significant relation between leading behavior and strategic capacities. Leading behavior significantly affects strategic capacities. The study reached at the following conclusions: the field study discovered that there is a significant correlation between the leading behaviors (democratic, autocratic, easygoing) and the aspects of building strategic capacities (technical knowledge of value building, the capacity of resource owning and production, using technology). The study ended in certain recommendations and suggestions like supporting the democratic leading behavior because it is the most effective way to build strategic capacities in the Colleges of Physical Education and Sport Science. | ||
