Abstract Physical powers are the most required ability by swimmers so as to overcome resistances faced by a swimmer under water, among them is the rapid force. The researchers noticed that most of swimming trainers ignore rapid force in their trainings which is regarded as one of the most significant multiple physical powers that are directly influencing achievement for it demands maximum force and speed. The present study is conducted to figure out the importance of this physical power and how much it is related to achievement. Thus, here lies the significance of the study which aims at identifying the associative relation between rapid force and numerical achievement of 100 meters freestyle swimmers. The researchers followed the descriptive method of associative relation approach due to its suitability to the nature of the paper. Moreover, filed procedures included rapid power tests of hands, legs and trunk, in addition to 100 meters freestyle swimming achievement test. The researchers concluded that there is a significant associative relation between rapid power and numerical achievement in 100 meters freestyle swimming which is an indication of the importance of this multiple ability of power and speed. The researchers, then, recommended preparing training programs guaranteeing improving this important physical power which will then be reflected on the level of achievement. | ||
