| Abstract | ||
| The available website over the internet enable the individual user,world wide wealth of information as it allowed him an opportunity to distance learning. But despite these many advantages, there are some downsides of the use that accompanied these technological development, on the media and informational level, instead of utilizing to enrich knowledge and information, it has become a source that irks a lot of students specially, spending a long time in front of the computers,and mobile phones and surf the various websites screens to be the reason for the low scientific level and thus low cultural level in general. The main target of the students today is to communicate basically with others and to get the entertainment material to spend time and to be acquainted with the breaking events of the interest to his city and his country. While the respect of science will be classified the last scope of his concerns. the study shows the role of browse websites to detract the scientific level of the Iraqi university students and that was among the most important conclusions that the students spend along time in front of the smart devices to surf the websites for the public information 43% and to sped time 18% to communicate with others 16% and their scientific interest on the network represent a low levels . The exposure for long time to mentioned devices many distrait them from performing their duties tuition and being in a state of dereliction which affected their scientific level at the end. The parents in many families do not interfere with the select times of the use of the network and browse the sites for from the control and alarm. The study showed that student prefer to surf social network on scientific and educational sites that serve them in the performance of their homework's. the students depend on paper sources such as book, magazines,and researches larger than specialized websites and there were some of obstacles faced by students in obtaining the information including a personal handicap 5% such as not to rely on the information published in the websites and doubt its credibility and cognitive 33%represented by lacking knowledge of utilizing the applications of computers or searching over the websites and the financial barrier of 17% determined with unability of to pay the fees of online services of internet or buy electronic devices. | ||
