| The research deals with pronunciation change in the light of the changes that happen in the suprasegmental features : tone, intonation and pause. These different aspects of pronunciation are treated from Arabic traditional studies of supra-segmental features that occur over a stretch of speech. The research is divided into two sections .The first focuses on changes of pronunciations related to tone and intonation .The second deals with the changes that take place in pause. Without any doubt that the phenomenon of multifaceted pronunciations occurs on the horizontal level over stretches of language under investigation .Toning and intonation are manifestations of pronunciation change that results from psychological, and emotional status .On the other hand , pause is a manifestation of pronunciation change that occurs on the of contextual level and deep contextual level. These topics fall under the umbrella term of the phenomenon of multifaceted pronunciations . | ||
