Abstract | ||
Openness of Serr Derr’s poetry into Arabic literary heritage ,especially the pre-Islamic literature and religious heritage, reflects one of its literary characteristics.This openness highlights various technical dimensions. For example, we find the type of Intertexuality that includes quotation of expressions , either one or two expressions . This kind of Intertexuality needs more knowledge and understanding of the all texts .In addition , we sometimes find the Intertexuality which includes quotation of another text .This type is the most obvious and easiest to access, and requires no effort and trouble to achieve than the previous one because it is represented by an image or a symbol or a slight indirect indication . At any rate , the poet , Serr Derr , adhered to the blank verse poetry of the traditionalists, and regarded the ancient poetry as the best in wording , especially The Mu‘allaqāt (The Hanging Poems). What explains their influence on him appears in his poetic Inertextuality. | ||
