| Abstract | ||
| This research examines one aspect of the Quranic text,that is the possible meanings of conjunctives. By this ,we mean, the potential places of conjoining whether it comes to join a single conjunctive or a compound one , and the change of meaning it carries in the text when it occurs. The meanings are of two types : 1.the meaning that occurs when joining occurs in two places . 2. the meaning that occurs when joining occurs in more than two places. The first section examines the first type and the second section is concerned with the second type taking in consideration that we start with the smaller unit of single conjunctives then to the bigger one . This means that the analysis begins with words , then phrases , clauses and ends with sentences. The methodology used in this research is a new one which mixes semantics with syntax .The research will a new open the door for students to capture the treasures of linguistic knowledge in the light of Quran. The time sequence approach is adopted in the study of texts depending on Hafs Bin Asim’s citation of Quran . The research ends with conclusion, recommendation and finally the references. | ||
