Abstract | ||
The research discusses the phenomenon of putting first and putting last the expressions in the arrangement of things in Qur’an according to their context , meanings and purposes. This is done in two sections as well as the introduction and conclusion. The study reveals that many ancient scholars exerted great efforts in extrapolating this linguistic phenomenon , its types and aspects ,and detecting its purposes and secrets in an effort to reveal the truth about the rhetorical inimitability of the Qur’an through the manner of grammatical and semantic choice. The study arrives at a significant result which is the new arrangement through the manner of putting last in the Holy Quran gives it a unique expressive composition ,which can be regarded as a movement away from the emulated original which the language makes through the use of words and meanings. This raises the following question in the reader’s mind, why are the things arranged in this manner that contradicts our logical experience? In addition, the phenomenon of putting first and putting last does not occur in vain but rather it has a purely rhetorical purpose which is to attract the recipient’s attention for a specific purpose which cannot be achieved without such an arrangement . | ||
