| Abstract | ||
| Phoneme has been considered the core of the phonological studies, the functional phonetics studies functional differences among the sounds. The scholars have been different on giving definition on phoneme; besides, the term "Phonology" differs from the term "Phonetics" in respect to four aspects": Methodology, function, Time, generality and specialty. The current study includes phoneme which is one type of 'Ceasing" types, it carries out a grammatical and semantic function. The phoneme, via practical application in the context of Quran, has indicated that it has semantic grammatical function. It (the phoneme) leads to diversity of syntactic and semantic in Quran and it gives the text different views in respect to syntactic and semantic; besides, it adds vitality to Quran and aesthetics to the meanings that get diverse by depending on syntactic and semantic diversity that adhere the phoneme's Ceasing. | ||
