Abstract | ||
Iran has lived under a dictatorial monarchy regime led by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (1941 1979), so it emerged from within Iranian society groups and personalities whose purpose was to bring change and reform, so as to ensure clearance of the Iranian people from the hegemony and tyranny and achieve equality. The intellectuals were among of those categories, which turned, by virtue of knowing the modern ideas, to savior of the people that suffer injustice and oppression. So those thinkers take on their shoulders the task of educating the Iranian masses in order to make change in the political, social and economic entity in Iran. Ali Shariati ( 1933 1977 ) was one of the most prominent pioneers of intellectual movement in Iran, where his efforts and his ideas led a major role in mobilizing the Iranian intellectual and political masses, leading up to the Iranian revolution in 1979, to the extent that he was known as the (Revolution Teacher ) among the Iranian people. This research includes an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the life of Ali Shariati and intellectual entity, and the second chapter studies his intellectual arguments and opinions. While Chapter three discusses the role of Ali Shariati in the Iranian revolution in 1979. | ||
